A message from 3rd Class
It has been a great start to the year! So far third class has been filled with learning in all areas! We are having a good time getting to know the new classroom and some new faces. We are becoming even more independent by doing jobs, working in groups and on our own and helping each other to be the best learners we can be.
We have spent lots of time outside, doing art and playing. We sometimes learn through playing co-operative games together as a class, or in small groups. We love P.E, Art and Maths.
This half-term we will have the Musician in Residence, Lorna, every Wednesday! We are very excited to learn with a real musician, especially because we are so musical and creative!

3rd Class Walk to the New Playground on 27th June 2023
Hello from Ms. Sharon's 3rd Class
3rd Class School Tour 20th June 2023
We all enjoyed a wonderful school tour to the Awesome Walls climbing centre and the Botanic Gardens.
Term 1, September 2022. In Art the children shared their interests and hobbies in the 'All About Me' profile pictures, it was a lovely activity to get reacquainted with each other and get to know some of our new pupils after the summer holidays. We also constructed some cool Cú Chulainn shields using old cardboard. In Science, the class really enjoyed exploring lots of materials that are used for building homes in Ireland. In Literacy the class also did amazing planning, drafting, writing, editing and publishing summer recount stories. As part of our Learn Together curriculum we learned about Rosh Hashanah and got to sample some delicious bread, apples and honey.
More photos from Ms. Sharon's 3rd Class Term 1 - mask making, soup day vegetables and 'Fear Sneachta' pictures.

Check out all of the fun we had on our school tour in Turvey Nature Reserve! We played games, went hunting for dry wood to build a fire and even toasted marshmallows over the fire! A big thanks to Mouse for giving us a brilliant school tour!

Hello from 2nd Class. We are nearly at the Christmas Holidays. We have had a very exciting month so far especially with Ronan and Buddy, our Elves on the Shelf. Mouse has been in visiting us and we have been learning lots about Irish Wildlife. We even had the chance to hold a baby hedgehog. We have been learning sign language as part of our Christmas performance and we cannot wait to show you all.
